Students read "The Hibernating House" by Leahy & Tarentino and illustrated by Ms. Daniels and looked at landscapes by famous artists such as Vincent Van Gogh, Claude Monet, Georgia O'Keeffe and Rockwell Kent. Then, it was our turn to make a landscape! Using pastels on black paper, we drew overlapping land forms then used dot techniques to create the shape and sparkle of fireworks in the sky. Enjoy!!
