Gr. 7 studied the Harlem Renaissance in ELA, Music, and Art classes. Students chose to create an original artwork based on one of the artistic themes of the era: People, Community, or Poetry & Song. Students could use any 2-D materials from the color and drawing centers, watercolor paint, watercolor pencils, collage supplies, oil pastels, or any combination of these materials to create their artworks.
