2016 Gargoyle Sculptures
Grade 6 semester 2 students studied medieval art forms, including gargoyles. Originally used as parts of decorative gutter systems, gargoyles of the middle ages became one of the most popular features on cathedrals of the time period. Students sketched designs for their own original gargoyle creatures, then formed them from marbleized Model Magic clay.
