2017 Whaling Ship Seascapes

Our whaling ships seascapes were inspired by the work of local maritime artists William Bradford and Albert Bierstadt, examples of which our students saw on their Grade 6 field trip to the New Bedford Whaling Museum. The ships were drawn in pen and ink, and the sunset effects were created using pastel techniques. These were created by students from the class of 2019 in June of 2017 and exhibited in the art room at the September 2017 Open House night.
