Galaxy Landscapes- Gr. 5 Days 1 & 4

Semester 1 2019-20 Grade 5 students learned about strategies that create a feeling of depth and space landscape genre. Student art featured original landscape form ideas with student's choice of landscape elements such as tress, animals, mountains or buildings. The students learned several watercolor techniques to achieve the effects of star-filled skies, such as wet-on-wet, salting, and silhouette. We think these galaxy paintings are out of this world!
