2015-2016 Artists of the Month

Each month this year, Ms. Daniels' Art Class Web Page will feature a student who has earned the distinction of "Artist of the Month". The student's name and art work will appear on the web site's main page for the month, and the student will receive recognition through the F.M.S. PBIS program.

2015 Mexican Celebration Roses

Grade 7 students studied symbolism in Mexican culture. Did you know that yellow roses symbolize patriotism and freedom, and roses are used for decorating skulls for the Dia de los Muertos, Mexico's Halloween? Our stoneware roses are hand sculpted then painted with acrylics and a secret glaze technique!
